good weekend

This past weekend was so full and wonderful. Both John and I had the opportunity to speak at different retreats one for the women and one for the men of our region's ministries, 100ish at both. We got to bring carloads of our students along with us. We got to exhort our college friends with the word of God.

We also got to see an old friend. Bring a new friend to church. Found out our new friend trusted Christ for her salvation, rightousness and eternity. And lay around all day Sunday watching football. Our team won. Barely, but still. We watched in sweat pants. And I tried my hand at a chicken and dumpling recipe. Yum. Thats all. Just wonderful.
